European champions Paris St Germain have opened talks with Bournemouth for their centre-back Ilya Zabarnyi. PSG are yet to make an offer, but the Cherries are reluctant to sell having lost Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid while Liverpool are closing on their left-back Milos Kerkez. The Champions League winners are starting to consider long-term replacements for captain Marquinhos, who turned 31 last month. Ukrainian defender Zabarnyi has caught the eye since joining the Cherries from Dynamo Kyiv in January 2023.
