FDA issues urgent muffin recall at grocery stores nationwide after potentially fatal mistake
Aldi employees pulled several cases of chocolate chip muffins off of store shelves following an urgent recall issued by the FDA. The FDA announced on June 26 that FGF Brands Inc is recalling 11,830 Aldi Bakeshop Chocolate Chip Muffin 4 count. The recalled products were distributed nationwide and come in a clear plastic container with a red label, according to WFTV 9. FGF Brands Inc recalled the product due to an 'undeclared walnut allergen.
