ThePittsburgh Steelerswill be looking to do something they haven't since the 2016 NFL playoffs when they host theHouston Texansin a wild-card round matchup: win a postseason game.
The Steelers made the playoffs for the sixth time in nine seasons afterbeating the Baltimore Ravens 26-24 in Week 18to clinch the AFC North. In their five most recent appearances, they have been one-and-done, losing every single season in the wild-card round.
Naturally, Pittsburgh's lack of recent postseason success has put a spotlight on Mike Tomlin's playoff record. While the 53-year-old coach enjoyed success early in his career and helped the Steelers win Super Bowl 43 in his second season, his record hasn't been nearly as pristine in recent seasons.
Here's what to know about Tomlin's playoff record and how the Steelers have fared in the postseason in recent years.
